Young Women Building Their Future Project

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Sabancı Foundation implement the project in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. The aim of the project is to make the problems and needs of young women in the NEET (neither in education nor employment) group more visible, to reinforce their place on the local and national agenda and to create mechanisms to identify these problems and meet their needs.

A field survey was conducted to determine the current situation and needs, and training and mentoring programs are being organized within the framework of the training demands arising from the field survey.

The project is designed to meet the sector's need for IT personnel to a great extent. Within this scope, it is aimed to make the CVs of individuals available to employers in a digital environment.

Within the scope of the project, another application, the ICTA Academy platform, offers online training services in the field of information technologies. Users will be able to log in to this application with the 1 Million Employment system or e-government system, register for the courses installed in the system and follow the trainings.

Project on Implementing Gender Responsive Planning and Budgeting in Türkiye

The main beneficiary of the project is our Ministry; the co-beneficiary is the Presidency Presidency of Strategy and Budget; and the implementing partner is UN Women. Stakeholders of the project include the The Committee on Plan and Budget and the Committee on Equality of Opportunity for Women and Men of Grand National Assembly of Türkiye The Project aims to further empower women and equality between women and men in Türkiye through the systematic and sustainable development of gender-responsive planning and budgeting.

Within the scope of the project, awareness-raising seminars for public officials in managerial positions at both central and local levels and technical trainings for the staff of relevant public institutions and organizations were conducted, and budget analysis studies sensitive to equality between women and men were completed for some central programs.
